For Christopher Norcross, his career as a chef began later on in his life than most. While he had always been surrounded by superb cooking from his mother and grandmother, he never took the time to learn and understand the fundamentals of the art.

After high school, Norcross realized his interest in cooking was his burning passion. He enrolled at the Atlantic Culinary Academy in New Hampshire where he began his fast paced journey into the culinary field. During this time he was able to learn a variety of techniques and cuisines giving him a solid foundation to jumpstart his career.

Norcross was fortunate enough to travel to Australia where he lived and worked. Here he was exposed to many different cultures and had the opportunity to work with some of the finest ingredients. His time spent in Australia instilled a passion within him which he takes to every kitchen he enters.

After spending a year in Australia, Norcross returned home with a strong desire to learn even more. After a brief stint at a local restaurant, The Common Man, Norcross decided the best way to feed his hunger for knowledge was to relocate to Boston.

Norcross obtained a position at the Metropolitan Club under Executive Chef Jeffrey Fournier. Norcross believes working with Fournier is a privilege bringing immeasurable challenges and learning experiences.

Norcross continues to learn from Bogardus and Fournier at Citrio and welcomes new endeavors with open arms.
